Eucharistic Celebration:
We started the day with a special morning prayer at 6 a.m. on 5th asking God’s blessing on each of the Chapter delegates. Fr.Vincent Arackal the vicar General of Calicut diocese celebrated the Holy Mass for the success of the 19th Ordinary Provincial Chapter at 6.30.a.m. In his key note address he reminded us of the Shepherding care we need to have in our apostolate and he also appreciated the Apostolic Carmel sisters’ edifying and silent presence in their apostolic endeavours.
Introductory Prayer Service
Provincial Chapter is a special event that calls for a profound conversion, renewal and transformation in us as individuals and communities.
Procession to the Chapter Hall:
The graceful and rhythmic movements of our Junior sisters in dance made the procession enchanting and beautiful.
Enthronement of the Bible:
To make the Chapter fruitful we remain docile to the Word of God.
The Provincial Superior Sr.M.Snehalatha declare
the Chapter open.
She said that we are commissioned to make the goodness and compassion of God experientially available to the members of our community and the people outside. This flow of love and compassion originates from our contemplation and being nourished by the energy of the Divine. Our vowed life is a protest against the materialism, consumerism and individualism which has become a culture of the time. All Christians much more we as religious are called to develop a contemplative consciousness that leads to action.

Report of the Province:
It summed up the wonderful ways in which the Lord kept leading the Southern flock through pastures fresh and green. The delegates appreciated the relentless work of the Provincial and her team.
